RLV in SL is a great Tool to make all kinds of RolePlay more
interesting. You can lockdown and not escape when you log in
with an RLV enabled viewer.
But its not secure, you can log with RLV disabled every time
and "cheat you out" from every uncomfortable situation.
If there would no way to get out and RLV would be inescapable - you would interact with more thrill and feel it more exciting - Right?
Now I will offer you a step by step guide how do you can make your RLV as safe as possible with nearly no way to cheat out.
At first you need a new e-Mail Address with no way to reset your password. You can make a new one and choose a password what you will never keep in your mind like "/(&UTJDHW&Irejdw578ISH§%36z4uhgq3" for example. The important point is that you can not recovery the email-password.
Another way can be to make a new e-Mail account and delete it after Step 2.
Now you change your e-Mail address in your Second Life Account to the new e-Mail in Step 1. Confirm the verification mail and if that all is done: Delete you e-Mail account that you have generate in Step 1.
This Step is very important, that you have no longer a chance toconfrim a e-Mail from Second Life and reset your Password.
Now you create a new SL Password for you in 2 Parts: The first Part can be easy so that you can remember - the second part should be very complex, so that you will have no chance to recall it without help.
Example: your New SL Password: Code1234$"§%"§ß=?/#*.,"4gHuI6T%
Part 1 you will recall, Part 2 you will forget. Make a Photo from Part 2.
Now Change your SL Password:-)
You need a Full Time RLV Viewer, a viewer with no option to put on or off RLV. You can use the Restrained Love Viewer for that.
Download and install. Login there with your new generated SL password and activate the "remember me" and "remember password" options.
If you will use Second Life from different devices, do Step 4 on all devices you want to will use.
Now you need an
online key holding service, like emlalock.com . There you make an
account and lock down your picture of your 2. Part from your SL
Password.
If you are owned, you make your owner the key holder of course.
Delete now all your note and pictures of your Part 2 from the SL Password, what you have locked down.
Now you can only login in SL with your unknown Password, stored in the Full Time RLV Viewer.
No way to log in Second Life without RLV - as long your picture is in a secure key holding session.
Congratulations! You have a Hardcore RLV User. enjoy :-)
